When does school open?

The school day starts at 8.50am for all pupils

• Closes at 3.25pm for EYFS, Year 1 and 2
• Closes at 3.30pm for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6

Collection of the children is from the KS1 playground.

The length of the school week:

• EYFS and KS1 = 32 hours 30 minutes per week
• KS2 = 32 hours 55 minutes per week

What are the school office opening times?

We ask that you adhere to these times whenever possible except for emergencies, or children returning from appointments:

• 8.30 am to 9.30 am (morning)
• 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm (afternoon)

Other than the online school calendar (provided via the link to the left), we have uploaded 2 calendars for you to print and reference at home.

Headlands Term Dates - these calendars show the school terms and holidays as laid out by City of York Council. It also contains training day dates.

Headlands Calendar - these provide a more personal calendar, which shows when our parents' evenings, events, etc. have been scheduled.
