In PSHE, we discussed 'celebrating differences.' Initially, we wrote statements on whiteboards outlining what we thought boys were like and what we thought girls were like. We discussed the importance of not generalising boys and girls as everyone is different and not all boys and girls are the same. We also challenged our preconceived notions of what police officers, sporty people and rich people are like and we decided it is important not to make judgements about people before we get to know anything about them.
