Music 25/10/18

Miss King has been using Bolero in music lessons to inspire performance. Classes have looked at instruments in the orchestra, texture in music and tempo. Today, Mr. Bromley’s musical class performed their own rendition of this classical piece!

Bolero - Maurice Ravel

Boléro is a one-movement orchestral piece by Maurice Ravel (1875--1937). Originally composed as a ballet commissioned by Russian ballerina Ida Rubinstein, the piece, which premiered in 1928, is Ravel's most famous musical composition.
