This week has been Healthy Schools Week. The children have had a fun-filled week learning about how to keep their bodies and minds healthy. They have also enjoyed participating in a number of different sporting activities.

Stage 1 of building a Stone Age village! An exciting afternoon using the natural materials we gathered last week from the Forest Schools area.

This afternoon we went out into the forest schools area to look for natural materials. The children collected many stones, twigs etc. and we are hoping that in 2 weeks time we will have created our own class Stone Age village - watch this space!

What an exciting morning we have had! We all headed outside to the junior playground in our cool shades ready to watch the partial eclipse. A great experience for all those involved! The children are now going to write about their experiences and we intend to put them in a time capsule.

This morning year 3/4 red were set the task of making a pyramid in small groups. They have all worked excellently in their teams and the pyramids are really beginning to shape. Watch this space for the finished designs!
