Cooking Culture

 

This week year 3/4 Blue have been learning about different foods from a range  of countries. We have tasted some of the delicious traditional foods and have learnt about some traditions (including using chopsticks!).

S.T.E.M week

 

This week we have had a S.T.E.M focus (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)

Our task has been to create a bird feeder that would be placed in the most suitable area around school. 

 

We have investigated the best bird habitat, collected data, measured wood and seed. We have then designed our bird feeder (using a special computer programme) and built our winning design.

The Stone Age

This term we will travelling back in time and will learn all about the Stone Age. From cave paintings to Neolithic farming, we will become prehistoric experts.
