Britain's Greatest Invention

Currently, we have been learning about British inventions which have had a significant impact on the way we live our lives today! We chose our favourite invention and then pitched the idea to the rest of the class in groups of 2 or 3 (Dragon's Den style!) See some of our presentations below...

Stone Age experience afternoon

 

In topic, we have been learning about what life was like for the Stone Age people. We were each given five activities to complete in a given time. These included: making items of clothing which involved dyeing fabrics using berries; making Stone Age jewellery; grinding oats to make powder for paint; making shelters and creating cave paintings using chalk.
