Mrs. Neville and Miss. Bolton took part in the York dragon boat race on the River Ouse as part of a whole school initiative to raise funds for Guide Dogs.
Olympic and Common wealth diving champion Alicia Blagg came to visit us in school today. She brought her gold medals with her and talked about the tough but rewarding life of an Olympic athlete!
As part of 'Healthy School's' week, we also learnt about the importance of a healthy mind as well as body. We thought about the things that made us feel happy, relaxed and chilled out, then went outside to read a book in the sunshine and get some fresh air!
We always eat healthily at school but in particular this week, the children had the opportunity to sample some healthy lunch designs by children at school. Yum Yum!

Some Spanish pupils from a school in Barcelona came to visit us and taught us all about school in Spain and a variety of Spanish phrases and words for different foods!
