A huge well done to Mathilda Robinson for receiving the celebration certificate this week from Mrs. Neville's class. Mathilda always contributes well to class discussions with lots of interesting and well thought out responses. She speaks clearly and articulately and is keen to ask questions in order to further develop her own knowledge and understanding. smiley  smiley  smiley

Well done to both Ayda Mooney and Eden Siddle for their amazing weather forecasts. You both had some great ideas for your weather reports and were able to apply your knowledge of phonics well to your writing. Both pieces of work demonstrated lovely neat handwriting too! smiley  no  smiley

This week's super star was Will Hutton. Congratulations to Will for writing a super set of instructions to make bird seed cakes. You carefully thought about each individual step required to make the bird cakes and focussed hard throughout the whole session. You made sure that you applied your phonics well and remembered clear finger spaces. A super achievement. Well done ... keep up the great work!!  no  no  no

Erin Sanderson produced some great writing this week. She wrote some instructions on how to make a bird seed cake! She used bossy words such as 'mix', and 'cut' and wrote her steps in the correct order, including finger spaces and fantastic use of phonics. Well done Erin. smiley
