We found out all about the importance of the Nile to the Ancient Egyptian civilisation this afternoon. They used the papyrus reeds, which grew on the river's banks, to make paper; we had a go at creating our own version. When it dries, we are going to add scenes of the River Nile using paint so watch this space!
